The party will also lodge protest against what it calls a campaign of deliberate lies unleashed against it.
Party chief Sonia Gandhi, vice president Rahul Gandhi and a host of other leaders and party workers would march from Jantar Mantar early morning on next Friday to gherao Parliament.
In a tweet, the party spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said: “Congress party with Smt Sonia Gandhi & Rahul Gandhi will march from Jantar Mantar to the Parliament on 6th May”.
Surjewalwa added this ‘Prajatantra Bachao March’ was in protest of Modi Govt failing to do anything about the issues of concern in the nation.
Surjewala said the protest march was organised against the attempts by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government to ‘topple’ duly elected governments as was witnessed in Arunachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
