A special CBI court in New Delhi today ordered framing of charges against industrialist and former Congress MP Naveen Jindal, former minister of state for coal Dasari Narayan Rao and 13 others.
Thse accused persons have been charged with for criminal conspiracy, cheating and other offences for irregularities in allotment of coal blocks.
Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Madhu Koda, former Coal Secretary H C Gupta and 11 others will also face trial in the case.
CBI has charge sheeted these people in a case of alleged irregularities in allocation of the Amarkonda Murgadangal coal block to Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) and Gagan Sponge Iron Private Ltd (GSIPL) in 2008.
