Spiritual leader of Nirankari Mission, Baba Hardev Singh was killed in a road accident in Montreal, Canada on Friday. One of his son in law Avneet was also killed in the accident, while another son in law Sunny sustained serious injuries. However, as per reports, Sunny’s condition is stable.
President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress Chief Sonia Gandh, Rahul Gandhi and other leaders expressed grief over the tragic death of Baba Hardev Singh.
In a tweet, Mr Modi said, Baba Hardev Singh’s demise is tragic and a great loss to the spiritual world. The Prime Minister said, his thoughts are with the countless followers of Baba Hardev Singh in this sad time.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh has also expressed grief over the passing away of Spiritual leader. In a tweet, Mr. Singh said he was a not only a spiritual leader but also a social reformer.
Home Minister said, Baba Hardev’s demise is a huge loss to the Nirankari Mission. May God give his followers the strength to bear the pain of this tragedy.
