Prime Minster Narendra Modi today inaugurated three hydropower projects of 1,752 MW capacity in Himachal Pradesh.
With this he dedicated to the nation 520 Megawatt generation capacity third phase of Parbati hydro power project, 412 Megawatt Rampur project and 800 Megawatt Kol Dam power project.
These projects will play an important role in boosting the Hydro-power sector of the sate.
Addressing a public rally in Mandi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi saluted people of Himachal Pradesh for giving brave soldiers in great numbers who laid down their lives for defence of the country.

Prime Minister also praised the army for conducting operations against Pakistan based terrorists. He said earlier such operations were conducted only by Israeli troops.
Prime Minister Modi also said BJP’s promise of One Rank One Pension (OROP) has been fulfilled by his government.
Taking a dig at the previous governments at the centre, Prime Minister said that he has to dig out old projects remaining incomplete for years.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also said that through LED bulbs campaign in Himachal, around 1 crore rupees will be saved daily by the people of the state.
